Senior Ben Clark Meets President Obama

As a finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search, Penn Manor senior Ben Clark and some of this fellow competitors were invited to the White House to meet President Obama. This competition is considered to be one of America’s elite high school research competitions.  There were 1, 744 high school seniors who entered their research. Ben placed 7th with his research on the frequency by which stars form binary systems. He received a $25,000 award. In December, Ben won the Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology and received a $100,000 scholarship with the same research. Congratulations!
