This is the inside of the privy. The privy is where people used to go to the bathroom. There are five different sizes of toilets. It was very unusual to have more one. It is located outside in the back away from the house. It was built out of brick on the outside and made out of wood on the inside. |

| This is the entrance to the outhouse. It looks more like a brick garage with two doors from a distance. The white wood poles are the frame of a rose arbor that would grow from the ground up and over the arbor to the roof. It would make the privy look and smell nice. |  |
