This is one of the four bookcases that James Buchanan had when he lived in Wheatland. The bookcase contains his old books that he read while he was living.

This is James Buchanan's library and actual furniture. He wrote his inauguration speech on this desk. He met with many business men in his library and they could come in and leave through the door on the left without having to go through the house.
