High School Classrooms for the Future: $627,669

We have received news regarding the High School Classrooms for the Future grant. Penn Manor will be receiving $627,669, the largest technology-related grant award in the history of the district. To bring everyone up-to-speed, CFF is a multi-year PDE initiative focused on providing laptops, data projectors and “smart” classroom technology for every high school English, Math, Science and Social Studies classroom. While Penn Manor applied for over $2,000,000 in funds for the 2007-2008 school year, our given allocation will still provide a considerable amount of technology equipment for a large number of core subject classrooms.

We’re still wrapping our heads around this grant and will provide more details once we receive additional clarification from PDE. You may check out the PDE press release here.
