Welcome to the Penn Manor School District and the Penn Manor website.  Whether you are a long time Penn Manor family member searching for detailed information about Penn Manor's programs or budget, or you are a parent moving to Lancaster County evaluating what might be your child's future school district, you will recognize that our website is an excellent resource.  Penn Manor tax payers will also value the budget and expenditure data provided by the business office personnel.

I have been a Penn Manor administrator and resident for over twenty years.  Penn Manor and Lancaster County are wonderful places to raise a family.  My children attended Penn Manor Schools from kindergarten to graduation.  They both received a quality education that prepared them for college and their chosen careers.  They made quality friends and had a good time.  Your children will too.

Quality Staff - Beca use Penn Manor is a great place to be, quality teachers and support personnel seek to work for us and to spend their whole career in Penn Manor.  This past year over 4000 teachers applied for our 29 teaching openings.

Quality Facilities - Every one of our ten school buildings has received significant renovation and new facility additions within the past 15 years.

Quality Programs - Penn Manor's curriculum is fully aligned with Pennsylvania state standards.  Your child can find successful routes to any further goal.  Penn Manor offers a full range of Advanced Placement classes including two levels of college calculus.  Students from Penn Manor represent the largest enrollment group in the Lancaster Career and Technology Centers.  Students in these centers can prepare to graduate and step directly into profitable careers in nursing, mechanics, building trades and many more.  Penn Manor also boasts one of Pennsylvania's largest and proudest Future Farmers program.  Many families report that one of the things they like best about Penn Manor is that our student body is very diverse in background as related to career orientation.  This prevents Penn Manor students from being easily "pigeon-holed."  It also means that social pressures to be like everyone else are reduced.

Quality Support Programs - For Students who struggle to succeed or face learning challenges Penn Manor offers academic supports at all levels.  Penn Manor's special education program is recognized as one of the best in the county and is rooted in a philosophy that Penn Manor students are best served by specialized programming offered in their home school.

Quality Co-curricular Programs - In the spring of 2005 four Penn Manor School teams won championships.  Boys' Volleyball was District Champs and two teams, Baseball and Girls' Soccer were State Champs!  This level of competitive success is unprecedented.  Our fall 2005 programs are already off to a great start.  Beginning in third and fourth grades instrumental music programs will be available to your child and musical and dramatic opportunities are available in every one of our schools.
