1 - Edwin Hubble's Birthday
American astronomer Edwin Hubble was born on November 20, 1889. He was best known for his development of the concept that our universe is constantly expanding. The Hubble Space Telescope, that allows us to see outer space, was named after him.

On November 14, 1889, newspaper reporter Nellie Bly attempted to break an imaginary hero's record of traveling around the world in 80 days (79 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds to be exact).
Nellie Bly beat the record, making it around the world in 72 days, 6 hours, 11 minutes, and 14 seconds. By how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds did Bly beat the record? Write your answer on the top of the Virtual Voyage to Paris sheet.
