Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:30am -3:00pm
After-School Research:
Students may stay after school until 4pm if they have brought in an after-school
note and checked with the librarian to ensure there is not a conflict.
Acceptable Use Policy
(AUP): Students must have an AUP signed before getting
onto the school network or the Internet. Students who do not abide by
the AUP will removed from all school computers for 30 days and may face
additional school discipline measures.
Check Outs:
Regular books may be checked out for 2 weeks. Reference books must be
returned the next school day during homeroom. Books can be renewed unless
they are on a waiting list.
Fines:
Overdue books are 5¢ per school day. Overdue reference books are
25¢ per school day. Fines can also be paid through community service
work in the library. Please let the librarian know if you have any concern
regarding payment.
Library Rules:
1) Work and read without disrupting others
2) No more than three students to a table
3) Ask before printing from the Internet
4) Abide by the Acceptable Use Policy
Library Passes:
Passes for study hall and Activity Periods should be obtained during homeroom.
Lost Books:
Any library materials which are lost must be paid for. Under certain circumstances,
students may trade-in a book for the lost book. The trade-in book must
be in good condition and appropriate for our collection. Please see the
librarian if you have lost a book.
Obligations (End of Marking Period):
Overdue books and fines must be taken care of before the end of the marking
period. If books or fines are outstanding at the end of the marking period,
the student will not receive their report card until their library obligation
is filled.
