Teacher's Mailboxes: :Instructions for Using the Inbox/ Outbox

Getting a document from an outbox

  • Go to “My Network Places”
  • “Home on Manor1”
    • if this is not available, you will need to double click on “add a network place” . Then type in \\manor1\ . You will choose \\manor1\home - then click “next” and “finish”.
  • “Teacher Mailboxes”
  • “Outboxes”
  • Select the teacher’s name
  • Then choose the correct document.

Putting a document into an inbox

  • Go to “My Network Places” from your desktop screen (blank screen) – your document should be closed.
  • “Home on Manor1”
    • if this is not available, you will need to double click on “add a network place”. Then type in \\manor1\. You will choose \\manor1\home - then click “next” and “finish”.
  • “Teacher Mailboxes”
  • “Inboxes”
  • “Select the Teacher’s Inbox”. Some teacher's have folders for each of their sections.
  • Minimize the Inbox
  • Go to “My Computer”
  • “Home on Manor1”
  • “Students”
  • Go to your files and folders and find the document you want to place in the inbox – Do not open it – only find the icon.
  • Right-click on the document you want – go to copy. Click into the inbox (your section) – right click – go to paste .
