Geometry Project---Reg. Math.
1) Vocab - due date will be assigned
2)Class work p. 360 #1-9 p. 363 #1-13 p. 372 #7-15 p. 378 #9-15 p. 379 #1-5 p. 384 #9-19 p. 387 # 1-13 p. 402 # 1-14
2) Project work ... A) Tesselation- Make a tesselation...Further instructions will be given in class. B) Draw and label Square, Rhombus, Rectangle, Parallelogram C) Report on a geometry topic- pyramids, design, landscaping, etc. D) Draw and label and measure these angles: acute, obtuse, right, complementary, and supplementary. E) Draw and label 4 different drawings with different lines of symmetry. F) Design power point or Hyper Studio presentation using vocab/drawings on on topic in this chapt.
Some of the work will be done in class and other work could be done at home. I will give you ample time to work on it in class. Your grade will consist of a vocab quiz, 50 points for your tesselation drawing, 20 points each for B-E, and one or more of your book work graded. |
