Geometry Project---Pre-Alg Geometry---Independent Work Pre-Alg

2) Independent work... Choose 2 of the sections that you completed for class work. Make a poster explaining a math concept. Be specific. Try to answer all question that one may have. Use cut-outs, pictures,etc....
3)Choose..... a topic that relates to geometry.
Bring in a finished product. Past examples include: Gingerbread house, stained glass, models, 3-D models, mobiles, pictures using the same shapes, reports on the pyramids or other geomtery type topics, tesselations, Geoboards, string art, 3D shapes,Symmetry in nature, Stained glass kits, Dress patterns, etc.... This may be done with a group IF it is approved by the teacher.
4) Vocab: Quiz to follow
5) A one page typed report about a topic relating to Geometry. Hand in rough draft, finished report, and resource list.
6) Make Tesselation poster. Directions to follow in class.
Some of the work will be done in class and other work could be done at home. I will give you ample time to work on it in class. A due date will be set later. I will grade one or more of your class work, your poster, report, tesselation and your independent project.
