Fractal Project...
Goal: to make a fractal on poster board.
Instructions: Students will make a fractal showing the 4 stages (at least). The final product must be on poster board and should be colored. Describe the stages either on the board or with paper attached to the board. This fractal will be graded on neatness, stages, and accuracy. Extra consideration will be given to made-up fracals.
Examples of different types of fractals have been provided. These include Jurassic park Sierpinski's Triangle Koch Snowflake The anti-snowflake Cantor dust.
Students are encouraged to make up their own fractal stages. Fractals can either expand or contract. If you do a triangle, turn in your finished poster and a description of how you made your fractal.
We will spend one class day on this projects.
