The beginning of a new school year always brings about many changes. We are pleased to welcome a new counselor to Manor Middle School. Mrs. Hinkle has joined our staff and will be at Manor on cycle days 1,3 and 5. The transition from elementary to middle school is an exciting time. A new building; the blending of 4 elementary schools' classes means the opportunity for many new friends; a new schedule; and all that goes along with becoming an adolescent! We will be spending time in classrooms and in small groups to give us the opportunity to get to know the students better. We are also available to meet with students individually as needs arise. I am looking forward to an adventurous year of helping students navigate the challenges and joys along their journey through adolescence.

Starting a new school year can be both exciting and challenging at the same time. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know all of you as the months fly by. I am here to provide assistance and support, whether it be academic, social, emotional or career-related. Miss Moore and I will be meeting all of the students in classes at the beginning of the year and I am also available by appointment to see students individually. Please note that my counseling position is part time and I will be available on odd cycle days. Have a great school year!
