Music: All students in grades 1-6 are scheduled for two 30-minute vocal music instruction periods per 6-day cycle. Students in grades 4-6 who are interested in learning to play a musical instrument may receive instruction during the school day. Instruments may be rented or purchased by the students. Physical Education: All students in grades 1-6 are scheduled for two 35-minute instructional periods per 6-day cycle. Students need to wear sneakers and appropriate clothing on their scheduled physical education days. Art: All students in grades K-6 are scheduled for one 60-minute instruction period per 6-day cycle. Library Book Exchange: All students in grades K-6 may borrow library books to read. Book exchange is scheduled once per 6-day cycle. Library Instruction: All students in grades 4-6 have on 45-minute instruction period per 6-day cycle. All students in grades 1-3 meet with the librarian twice per marking period for library instruction.
