Principal's Message
Pequea Elementary School met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) as defined by No Child Left Behind (NCLB). All student subgroups achieved above the Pennsylvania State minimum proficiency levels of 35% for mathematics and 45% for reading. 2003 PSSA scores showed an increase in students scoring at the Advanced and Proficient levels from the previous year. A strong math program and a continued emphasis on reading will help Pequea Elementary continue to improve.
