PSSA Scores

Principal's Message Conestoga Elementary School met Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) as defined by No Child Left Behind (NCLB). All student subgroups achieved above the Pennsylvania State minimum proficiency levels of 35% for mathematics and 45% for reading. 2003 PSSA scores showed an increase in students scoring at the Advanced and Proficient levels from the previous year. A strong math program and a continued emphasis on reading will help Conestoga Elementary continue to improve.
