Events planned include a Track Challenge for grades K to 6 starting on the track at 6:00 pm. There will be a FitKidz Challenge Course, Family Bumba in the gym, healthy eating quiz, strength test, and you can make your own trail mix. The first 150 participants will receive a free t-shirt and bottle of water.

The cost is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for students. All children must be accompanied by a parent. The proceeds benefit the Penn Manor Family Fund. Come out and enjoy a chance to get healthy and have some fun! The event will be held rain or shine.

The Girls Lacrosse Team defeated Hershey in the first round of Districts and will play York Catholic at Susquehannock High School Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 pm

The Boys Baseball Team will face McCaskey in the first round of Districts this Friday, May 18 at Comet Field at 4:30 pm.  Admission will be charged $5 adult and $3 student. As this is the same time as Spring Fling, parking will be as directed by the student parking attendants. There is no reserved parking for the baseball game.

The Girls Softball Team will play Cedar Crest in first round of Districts this Friday, May 18 at Manor Middle School at 4:30 pm.

Greta Lindsley (800, 1600, 3200) and Harrison Shetler (1600) took gold at the LL League Track and Field Championships this past weekend and will head to Shippensburg with their teammates this coming weekend (May 18 and 19) for the District track meet.

This event is planned by Penn Manor High School students for the entire Penn Manor community. Everyone is invited! Fifteen different high school bands and performers will be taking to the stage throughout the day and evening. High school sports teams and extra-curricular groups will have booths with carnival games and lots of different types of food. Amusement rides and inflatables will also be featured. Fireworks will close the event and will begin at 9:00 pm.

There is no charge to attend this event and the parking is free. The event will be held rain or shine.

The class had a food fair so they could taste some of the traditional foods. The chef from the Taj Mahal restaurant talked with the students about spices that are used and did a demonstration on how to prepare somosa, a popular appetizer. The students enjoyed sampling the different Indian foods.  The class will be skyping with Miss Nithya at the end of May and sharing their experiences and opinions on Indian food with her.

If they could achieve the goal, Ms. Santaniello and building secretary, Mrs. Campbell, would spend a night on the roof of the school building. Once all the funds were collected and counted, the ladies found out that they would be camping out on the roof! At the end of the school day on Thursday, May 3, the Willow Street Fire Company lifted Ms. Santaniello and Mrs. Campbell up to the roof. Ms. Santaniello read bedtime stories during the evening via computer to the Pequea students and then the two roof-dwellers settled down for the night.
