PMHS seniors receive 156 scholarships/awards

Penn Manor High School seniors got a boost to their post-high school plans when members of the Class of 2016 received 156 scholarships and awards totaling $113,175 during the Senior Awards Ceremony on May 19.

The honors included more than 30 scholarships and awards administered by Penn Manor Education Foundation totaling more than $60,000.

The top recipients were Emily Thyrum, with nine scholarships/awards, and Jack Zimmerman and Claire Molitoris, with eight each. Evan Toomey, Leah Williamson and Danielle Wright each earned five scholarships/awards.
