PMHS participates in ‘Reach Higher’ signing day

Penn Manor High School seniors participated in “PM Seniors #ReachHigher,” an event designed to celebrate their plans to continue their education or training after graduation.

Throughout the day Tuesday, students got their photos taken “signing” a commitment to attend college, technical school, the military or another post-secondary education program. Students were encouraged to wear a shirt indicating their college choice or hold up a sign with the school’s name.

The photos will be shown in a slideshow at the start of graduation June 7.

April 26 is considered “National College Signing Day,” and the White House encouraged all high schools across the country to hold an event to acknowledge every senior who has an after graduation plan. Learn more here.

The students were joined by Comet Man and Elizabethtown College’s Blue Jay mascot.

It was great to see so many students participate in what will become an annual celebration at Penn Manor. Best of luck after graduation!
