The lockdown has been lifted at Marticville Middle School. The following message is being sent to all Penn Manor families:
This is Mike Leichliter, Superintendent of Schools. This is an update to an earlier Alert message. The lockdown at Marticville Middle School has ended.
At approximately 9:15 am Penn Manor School District administration received an update from the lead investigator from the Pennsylvania State Police. Upon further investigation, the State Police determined that there is no threat to Marticville Middle School or students in the building. State Police instructed the district to end the lockdown and resume normal operations.
Pequea Elementary buses that were at Penn Manor High School are now en route to Marticville Middle School. We thank our community for your cooperation this morning as we work to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.
