‘Charlotte’s Web’ April 23 on PMHS stage

Penn Manor High School will present “Charlotte’s Web,” a play for young audience members, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in the high school auditorium.

Based on the classic E.B. White children’s novel, the play tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages praising the pig in her web to persuade him to let Wilbur live.

The cast includes Claudia Heitland, Claire Molitoris, Veronica Cazillo, Skyla Taglieri, Madison Beatty, Abby Julian, Avery York, Max Minnick, Charlotte Molitoris, Parker Brown, Alex Patterson, Gabriella Santiago, Gabby Bitts, Dustin Schneider, Haley Hoffer, Mary Michael, Justine Green, Kyle Echterling and James Mintzer.

Admission is free, but a free will offering will be taken after the performance.
