Education Voters of PA and the Millersville University Education on Location program are co-hosting a forum on public school funding in Lancaster County on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. in the Lehrer Room in the Bolger Conference Center, Millersville University.
This event is designed to give Lancaster County residents an opportunity to learn more about how state funding issues impact their school districts and how they can advocate for a state system of funding schools that is fair, adequate and predictable and that provides all students with an opportunity to learn.
Forum panelists will include:
Brenda Becker, Hempfield superintendent
Bob Hollister, Elanco superintendent
Mike Leichliter, Penn Manor superintendent
Tim Shrom, Solanco business manager
Idette Groff, Conestoga Valley school board member
Tim Stayer, Ephrata Area school board member
Susan Gobreski, Education Voters of PA
State legislators who represent school districts in Lancaster County also have been invited to attend. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions following the presentations.
