Manor Fun Fest raises $2,000 for charity

Community members, students and staff helped raise nearly $2,000 for the Penn Manor Family First Fund while having a blast Saturday at Manor Middle School’s eighth annual Family Fun Fest.

The event featured a talent show, crafts, face painting, engineering competitions, raffles, games, food sales and a dunk tank. In addition, local community groups and police and fire departments shared information and showed off their gear, including fire engines, an armored emergency vehicle and a Lancaster city police horse.

Attendance at this year’s Fun Fest was the highest in the event’s history, said Manor MS principal Dana Edwards.
