UPDATE on AlertNow Notification Regarding Suspicious Vehicle in Millersville

UPDATE – The Millersville Borough Police investigation of the SUV incident reported this morning has been successfully resolved. The individual in question was located and is working for the International House in Millersville. He was asking for help in setting up the yard sale when he approached the child. Police are satisfied that he is not a threat to the community. Student safety is always our top priority. Thank you for your help in keeping all children safe.

 

Millersville Borough Police contacted the school district this morning regarding a man who attempted to lure a child into a vehicle at the International House Field at the intersection of Leaman and Manor Avenues in Millersville.  This incident was reported to police today, but actually occurred at approximately 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 29th.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue Isuzu SUV.  The driver is described as a darker complected, middle-aged male with a salt and pepper mustache.  The investigation is ongoing.

You are encouraged to contact the Millersville Borough Police or your child’s school if you observe this vehicle and/or driver.  Eshleman Elementary School, the Penn Manor staff, and school bus drivers have also been alerted to this situation. Thank you for your help in keeping all children safe.
