Conestoga Creates a Living Wax Museum

The fourth grade students at Conestoga Elementary created a living wax museum as part of a social studies unit. Each student chose a person of interest from history to portray. When a visitor pushed the “on” button, the student would give a short biography about themselves. Mia Hamm, Nadia Comaneci, Mother Teresa, Ben Franklin, Albert Einstein, Amelia Earhart, Shirley Temple, Jane Goodall, and Abigail Adams are just a few of the famous people you could meet.

My sons’ school does this project. The personalities were very impressive and everyone enjoyed learning (both students and parents!) I’m sure this was a fun day for you all too!
